BHEEMA PROJECT :: MAHABUBNAGAR BRIEF NOTE
The Government vide G.O.Ms.No.146, I&CAD (PW:A.P. III. 2) Dept., Dt.27.12.2004 has created the post of Special Collector (L.A) Bheema Project, Mahabubnagar and SDC (L.A) Bheema Project, Unit-I at Makthal and Unit-II at Pebbair , SDC (L.A) Kalwakurthy LI Scheme at Nagarkurnool, SDC (L.A) Nettempadu LI Scheme at Gadwal and further vide G.O.Ms.No.192 Finance (SMPC) Dept., Dt.01.06.2005 has crated SDC (L.A) Unit MGLIS at Kalwakurthy. Besides the above units the SDC (L.A) PJP Gadwal unit which was under the control of Special Collector, Srisailam Project, Kurnool was attached Special Collector (L.A) Bheema Project, Mahabubnagar vide Government Memo No.6987/L.A.-IV.R&R-I/2008-1, I&CAD Dept., Dt.07.08.2008.
DETAILS OF PROPOSED IRRIGATION POTENTIAL TO BE CREATED
- Rajiv Bheema LISP : 2,03,000 Acres
- Mahatma (KLI) LISP : 3,40,000 Acres
- Jawahar (Nettempad) LISP : 2,00,000 Acres
- Koilsagar LISP : 50,250 Acres
Total Proposed Ayacut : 7,93,250 Acres
Land Acquisition Details as on 31.03.2017 :
Total Requirement of Land : Ac. 78872 Acres
Total land acquired : Ac. 69106 Acres
Balance land to be acquired : Ac. 9766 Acres
Total expenditure incurred so far on LA : Rs.773.43 crores AS on 31.03.2017
