XI. CONSTRUCTION OF B.C. HOSTEL:

Government has sanctioned 1.50 crore for construction of B.C. Hostel at MVS Govt. Junior Colleges, Mahabubnagar and work entrusted to Executive Engineer, Social Welfare, Mahabubnagar.

XII. RI.A.D SCHEME:

An amount of Rs.40,50,000/- has been sanctioned to Govt. Junior College, Amrabad for construction of (6) classrooms and (3) Toilets under RIAD for the welfare of SC/ST students during 2008-09 and Tenders are being called.

XIII . 37 of students from various junior colleges located in Mahabubnagar have

Secured Prathibha Puraskar awards (2008-09 Academic year) and the certificates have been distributed to the respective students through Principal of the colleges.

XIV. V.H. Residential Junior College, Mahabubnagar & Govt. Junior College, Ieeja has secured 100% Results in IPE March-2010.

XV. Short Term Vocational Certificate courses are introduced in (16) Govt. Junior

College for 10th pass & fail students and also to the Intermediate students.

XVI. Review meeting with all Principals of Govt. Junior Colleges have been conducted for better improvement of I.P.E March-2010 results. Instructions are issued to the Principals of low performance colleges to focus special interest for improvement of results by conducting extra classes.

XVII . Instructions were issued to all the Principal, Government Junior Colleges to display the name board containing the names of PIO & APIO under RTI Act. (list of PIOs and APIOs enclosed)
